Meridian, Idaho, September 16, 2016 - CompuNet, a value-added reseller (VAR) and IT systems integrator, today announced it has been awarded a contract through National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (NCPA) to deliver public cloud, collaboration and storage IT solutions to state, local, education and non-profit customers in the Western United States. The NCPA a leading national government purchasing cooperative working to reduce the cost of technology services by leveraging the purchasing power of public agencies in all 50 states.

This contract allows over 90,000 agencies from both the public and nonprofit sectors to be eligible to utilize NCPA's cooperative purchasing contracts. These include, but are not limited to the following agency types:
- K-12 Education
- Higher Education
- Cities, Counties, and any Local Government
- State Agencies
- Healthcare Organizations
- Nonprofit Organizations
This national cooperative agreement with CompuNet will provide a flexible and cost effective IT procurement resource for NCPA members. This contract is designed to decrease costs, reduce paperwork, increase service levels and ultimately is a procurement vehicle that will enable savings for NCPA members in terms of both procurement efficiency and in the costs for technology products and services.
