Microsoft AOS-G Program Overview

The Microsoft Agreement for Online Services – Government program, commonly known AOS-G, was established to offer a purchasing path to organizations that require access to the Microsoft Government Cloud Community High (GCC High) but require fewer than 500 licenses.

These licenses are available as modified enterprise agreements and can be bought in 12-, 24-, or 36-month terms with annual upfront payments and are designed to support NIST 800-171, CMMC, and ITAR security requirements.

Previously, contractors had to sign an Enterprise Agreement (EA) to obtain these licenses and access the Microsoft 365 GCC High environment. The AOS-G program makes it easier for small to midsized businesses to access a cloud platform that meets federal regulations.
